End of London. Lithuania.

   



So I should post some of my London pictures. We met up with Sydney and saw all the sights: Big Ben and Houses of Parliment, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the British Museum, Red Phone Booths, Tower Bridge. And here are some pictures above. The first is from the British Museum, then the ultimate England picture with Big Ben, the London Eye and a double decker bus, then Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and Tower Bridge.

I got into Lithuania and for 2 days I got to know the other study abroads and toured the city (pictures to come) It was a lot of fun and we bonded really well.

Yesterday, we finally got to Klaipeda, the city where LCC is. I met 2 of 3 roommates (the other one should be coming sometime this weekend). They are both really nice and cool guys and their english is a lot better than I thought it would be. Today we had a bunch of orientation stuff and got to know the city better. Then the group went on a walking tour of the town but I think I have a pinched nerve in my neck and it really hurts to move my neck so I decided to come back to my room and chill with heat on it and its a little better.

So I got to London safe and in one piece.

Last night Jess and I flew out of BWI to Philly. We had a short 2 hour layover in Philly where they were nice enough to change our gate at the last minute to one that was half way across the terminal. It was okay though. We left Philly at 9pm and we flew all night long to Dublin. We arrived in Dublin at almost exactly 9am so by the clock it was 12 hours but in reality it was only 7. 

As some of you know, I have never flown before so I was experiencing all this for the first time. On the way to Dublin I woke up as the sun was rising and all I could see was clouds and the beautiful sky. Pictures could not do it justice. It was amazingly beautiful and God really put joy into my heart seeing how the beauty of his creation is just a shadow of his beauty. 

We stopped at a pub in Dublin and Jess bought me my first legal drink and we chilled until it was time for us to leave Dublin at noon for our final flight to London. From the time we left Baltimore until the time we walked into our hotel, Jess and I had spent a little over 18 hours traveling and were pooped.

It's good though. New and interesting things lie on the horizon.
